A compact station to protect the entire home network against impurities, scale, and corrosion.
The BWT PUREPHOS is a 4-in-1 duplex station that is installed on the main cold water inlet or upstream of equipment to be protected. It combines 20 µm mechanical filtration and preventive action against scale deposits and corrosion, while limiting bacterial proliferation inside the filter.
The 4 functions of the BWT PUREPHOS station
- Anti-impurities: retains solid particles down to 20 µm, including sludge, sand, and rust.
- Anti-scale: silicophosphate crystals limit scale formation up to 100 °C.
- Anti-corrosion: helps protect metal surfaces up to 180 °C.
- Bacteriostatic protection: the ARCTIC cartridge limits bacterial proliferation inside the filter.
PUREPHOS does not replace a water softener and does not remove water hardness. It primarily acts to protect pipes and equipment against impurities, limescale deposits, and corrosion.
A complementary double cartridge
- BWT ARCTIC 20 µm cartridge: filtration of solid impurities with bacteriostatic treatment.
- BWT PURESILI cartridge: container of silicophosphate crystals for anti-scale and anti-corrosion protection.

Installation and maintenance
The station is installed on the main cold water inlet or before equipment requiring specific protection. To ensure watertightness, correct flow direction, and cartridge accessibility, professional installation is recommended.
The set of cartridges should be replaced approximately every 6 to 12 months, or sooner if significant fouling is visible. The transparent bowls facilitate this check.
